"Instead of having to restore emails of employees who left the company from backup tapes, we use ExCharge™ for Server to offload Exchange from the mailboxes of former employees by converting them into standard archives that can be read by Outlook. That way if a request arrives from an authorized employee to look for a mail of an employee who had left the company, instead of having to tediously restore the mailbox from tape, we simply give access to the desired archive file, and the authorized employee can search the former employee’s archive for the desired info.
