EdgeSafe™ - Incremental Outlook Backup /PST Backup for Organizations - Managed Email Backup

EdgeSafe provides a managed solution to backup/archive precious organization email data located on notebooks and desktops -- by efficiently backing it up and archiving it onto central, easy to recover, standard disk based storage.

It backs up and archives Outlook’s database file (PST) incrementally with a dedicated agent (PST2PST™). The agent copies only new and changed items on a message level incremental resolution, and it considerably reduces the size of the backup by filtering out unwanted folders such as Junk Mail.

Another advantage is the archiving feature, resulting from appending new items into the destination PST. This feature allows for recovering a backed up message that was deleted from the source many days and years ago. That way it also avoids having to search for a lost message among tens and even hundreds of backup PST versions.

RRB^{TM -}Stand Alone Incremental Backup Solution for Files/Folders

RRB^TM (Relative Rev Backup) software backs up files and folders from a notebook or a server onto a standard hard disk, which it converts into an automated backup library that requires minimal space and easily restores lost files / folders from multiple backup versions.

RRB^TMcan recover files / folders that have been unnoticeably deleted or corrupted a few days back as well as recover them from versions that are weeks, months and even YEARS old. Unlike other solutions that need to multiply the backup space - RRB^TM requires a backup space comparable to a single version.

RRB^TM solution provides both the backup software and the software that converts hard disks into an efficient backup library. With RRB^TM there is no need for any dedicated hardware and the backup media can be any disk-based storage (standard, fixed, or removable; NAS and even SAN).

To reduce the backup space and time, every backup session will only backup the changed and new files, making sure not to backup duplicates of the same file (single instance file de-duplication).

Unlike other incremental backup solutions, RRB's technology does not need lengthy and space consuming full backup sessions. That way even weekly, monthly, or yearly sessions back up only the changes since the previous session.

At the same time RRB^TM instantly recovers any file or folder from any retained version, without having to slowly recover the full backup first, followed by every incremental backup taken since.

For unattended operation Relative Rev Backup can schedule frequent backup sessions, and at the same time it will not wait for the backup space to explode with hundreds of backup versions. Rather, it will keep only a predetermined number of daily weekly and monthly versions, seamlessly purging the space consumed by expired versions.

Backed up versions can be validated at any time by running a test that compares the file signature of each backed up file against its original saved signature.

Relative Rev Backup supports disk swapping to allow for offsite storage and media redundancy. It is simple to install and intuitive to use with support for Windows file server and workstation.
